Anti-spyware campaign begins
A campaign to highlight the prevalence of spyware on the average computer has been launched. Panda Software, a security company, has set up a website at www.infectedornot.com where you can go to check whether your PC has picked up any programs that could be reporting on your activities to online criminals. Two products, Panda NanoScan and Panda TotalScan, are available to download from the site. The programs are both still in beta and are not scheduled to launch until next month, but Panda is offering free downloads of the beta versions now.
