Common Sense Needed To Be Spyware Free
I have been using Firefox for two years. In 2006, I used PC Tools’ “Spyware Doctor” anti-spyware and in 2007 I used Webroot’s “Spysweeper.” Neither ever found anything. I use my computer for a lot of research (I am an independent librarian) and am a very careful computer user, but I’m concerned that Firefox does not seem to be “covered” by those programs. I have chosen the options in Firefox to eliminate most traces of my session, each time I close the browser. (I also have installed and keep up-to-date AVG software, Ad-Aware and Ad-Watch.)
